I studied Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations for my undergraduate degree in Birmingham City University, achieving a first class with honours.
During my time there, I was able to explore all aspects of the promotional industry. I had the opportunity to work on live briefs, develop full campaigns and pitch my findings directly to the clients.
While this was still very structured and was maintained by the university, it was my introduction to pitch meetings and would be valuable preparation for my masters degree, where pitch meetings with clients on live briefs was more common and less structured.
